Making Exercise Part Of Our Couple's Routine

Easy and I have plans to go jogging when he gets home from work today. We've discussed it for a while, but never quite got around to it. He said he liked the idea when I mentioned it the last time I was in St. Louis. He accidentally told on himself though. He pointed out that he just realized he didn't have running clothes. He pointed this out last night. Which means when he said he'd go running with me two weeks ago, he didn't think on it past the point of, "sound like a good idea. Maybe."

I didn't call him on it cause I know he'll read this blog post at some point anyway haha. But I'm just glad he's thinking about it now. The best laid plans blah blah blah. But I'm definitely going running this afternoon. It's so warm down here in St. Louis. And I want to keep up this running thing. I've only been doing it for three days now, but I like it so far.

I've avoided running because it's my least favorite exercise and I worry about having to have a knee replacement when I'm 50 or something like that. But yoga is doing nothing to get rid of the last vestiges of jiggly-ness on my arms and stomach. So I'm trying running and hoping for the best. I'm just glad Easy is going to run with me.

We enjoy doing things together. Based on my parents, who are doing Weight Watchers right now, getting all sexified with your partner only had positive effects. Easy is definitely sexy, but getting rid of our jiggly-ness as a team should be a fun thing to do together.

2 New Hypotheses:

At least it's a strong motivator to have a partner in exercising...especially if that person is of the opposite sex.
